New Publix to Debut in North Naples in Mid-2027

Another new grocery store is coming to North Naples, and it’s on schedule to become a celebrated, nearby convenience for those living in surrounding neighborhoods. The new Publix in the Gateway Shoppes at North Bay is schedule to open sometime in mid 2027.
That’s likely good news for those living in nearby Aqua, Audubon, and Kalea Bay. All residential locations sit in close proximity to the new store, which is planned to go in near the corner of Wiggins Pass Road and US 41.
It’s likely that crews will break ground for the new grocery store sometime later this summer, and it could potentially be open for its first customers by sometime next summer. The draw won’t just be a new grocery store.
It’s expected that the new Publix store will also entice additional new retail tenants to also come to the area. The new grocery store, and the possibly some new restaurants, will give those living in the surrounding area even more nearby options to choose from in the near future.
It’s not the only construction going on in the area. Audubon Country Club is just a few minutes away and crews there recently broke ground on a massive new expansion and renovation project involving its clubhouse. This private, golf course community is home to 14 neighborhoods itself, including single-family homes, custom estates, condos, and villas.
Construction of a fifth condo tower at nearby Kalea Bay brings the total number of residences there to 600 units. That’s even more nearby residents to enjoy the convenience of a new grocery store and other retailers.
