A Tale of Three Towers - Comparing Kalea Bay, Park Shore, and Bonita Bay

With three exceptional locations to choose from, it may be hard to decide between some of the best residential towers in the Naples area.

Kalea Bay

Because the fifth tower of Kalea Bay is still under construction, you can still find new condos and even preconstruction condos for sale. Overlooking the Gulf and the Bay, the beach isn’t really within walking distance, but you will find rooftop swimming pools and a Beach Club for an additional fee.

There’s also open-air fitness, plus an on-site pro for tennis and pickleball. Most condos are all around the same size, typically with 3,200 to 3,300 square feet of living space and up to four-bedrooms. Expect to find large balconies on either side of each of the condos and high ceilings.

Park Shore

For a much shorter walk to the beach, Park Shore is a great choice because it’s the only one of the three locations mentioned that exists right on the sand. There’s also direct access to Venetian Bay for boating, plus you can walk to some area businesses and restaurants in The Village Shops on Venetian Bay.

Residents can join a voluntary association for access to the private Park Shore Beach Park. In all, there are a couple of dozen high-rise condo buildings in Park Shore. The newest is called Aria and condos there start at close to 3,200 square feet of living space.

Bonita Bay

The gated, Bonita Bay community additionally offers some high-rise condos, including within Omega at Bonita Bay. This residential tower was the final tower to join the area, and floorplans commonly include at least three- or four-bedrooms, and there are just three residences per floor. 

Bonita Bay offers views overlooking the Gulf and Estero Bay, plus also some preserve areas and golf courses. Bonita Bay has five total golf courses, which is an optional membership, but Bonita Bay Beach Club access is included with ownership. A sports membership adds pickleball, tennis, croquet and swimming, plus there’s also a boat ramp and kayak storage, bocce ball, basketball, and a playground at Riverwalk Park. There’s also a semi-private marina on the Imperial River.
