The Laurentians is a Low-Density Retreat Near Downtown

For low-density living near Downtown Naples, consider the long-standing appeal of one of city’s most popular, gulf front condo developments. As part of the Coquina Sands neighborhood, The Laurentians condos were first delivered in the mid 1970s but continue to bring in new interest today.

Made up of two buildings, each of which stands eight-stories high, The Laurentians has nearly three-dozen condos in all, and occasionally one does come on the market for sale. Found virtually right on the sand, there are just two residences per floor.

The condos are typically on the larger side and usually contain anywhere from 2,700 square feet to more than 3,400 square feet of living space. This generally means either three- or four-bedrooms and up to four-baths.

In addition, there’s some underbuilding garage parking at The Laurentians and private storage space available. 

Because popular Lowdermilk Park sits right next door, you’ll find some nearby sand volleyball courts, picnic tables, gazebos, a concession stand, and a playground. The Laurentians is just one of a handful of beachfront high-rises located in Coquina Sands. The well-established neighborhood also includes some single-family homes and is directly bordered on its western edge by the Gulf.
